I heart Staithes

We back.

Splendid week away by the sea-side -
(even though it did include sliding inelegantly down several rocks, streams and landing in a waterfall. My bottom has never had such a dangerous year.)

Kids having sleepover at Grandmas this evening, Reg and I off out to watch Denapoli at Seven doing his thing.

This also means we get to sleep in tomorrow as no children or seagulls in/on our house.

Life feels good today - but as my friend Lorraine reliably informed me once, "don't worry, it will pass." Strangely comforting.

Your blob is tops. Keep it up! Must admit its not easy at first to leave a comment as it takes u thro a host of hoops to jump thro but you get there in tend. The bit about Ro missing Maxine was
particularly poiniont (excuse spelling as Im crap at it) as I talk to Moll about my mum and dad a lot and she asked me the other day why she couldn't see her Gran and Grandad cos they sound ace (Knowing they are in heaven but WHY!)....and then cried!...and so did I (which helps!). She then asked how old they where when they died and when I said 47 and 54 she said "Phew your only 39!" Understand the thought of out living mum... must be a MASSIVE milestone albeit a sad one. Speak soon and happy sleep in! Martin x
